However, it ended up facing many, many roadblocks, including a version for Xbox 360 scheduled for 2010 which never came to pass, and a PS3 version announced by Sony Entertainment themselves that also never saw the light of day was supposed to arrive in 2012. It's been a long, long time coming, with the game first revealed by developer Blueside studios all the way back in 2008 when it was set to come to 'consoles and PC'. Publisher Gameforge has announced that it is finally bringing massively multiplayer RTS hybrid Kingdom Under Fire II to North America and Europe later in 2019, some eleven years after the game was originally announced.
